Join us at the inaugural
Sunset Park Traditional Walk on Saturday, October 24, 2015 in Las Vegas. This
walk is hosted by the Las Vegas High Rollers & Strollers and is rated 1A;
medium for strollers and wheelchairs. A short walk from the registration point takes
you into and around Sunset Park. You will pass the fishing and small boat pond,
numerous ballfields, a Frisbee golf course, and a history
walkway. From the scenic overlook, you can see the site of one of the earliest
“truck farms” in the Las Vegas valley, which provided food for workers who
built Hoover Dam. We will meet at the La Quinta Inn and Suites for
registration. Register from 8:00am to 10:00am; finish by 1:00pm. Dogs are welcome;
leashes and cleanup required.

To get there: From
I15 north or south exit onto 215 East to exit on Eastern North. Left onto
Sunset. Start point will be on the left. From the Las Vegs Strip, head south on
Las Vegas Blvd and east (left) on Sunset Road. Start point will be on your
right.
Each participant,
free or paid, must register and sign an Amateur Athletic Waiver and Release of
Liability (parent or guardian must sign for minors). The sponsors are not
liable for accidents, thefts, and/or material damage. Every effort will be made
by the sponsors to make this a safe, enjoyable and memorable event.
